It’s been many moons since we’ve last spoke and I believe an update is due…
First and foremost, I’ve kept nearly all of the weight off through the winter. Currently at 179 lbs. despite holiday feasts, some new injuries, starting a new job, family needs, and all the fun elements of life. No excuses though, some of my habits fell off. However, my core routines remained fully intact which goes to show you the power of waking up everyday and grinding especially on those lazy days. For years I would put in a ton of work during the summer only to lose that weight loss progress in the winter time.
“When it’s grey and cold, the excuses take hold.”

Going into the spring season at such a low weight is extremely motivating because most of my true annual gains happen between the A’s (April and August). It’s important to acknowledge and accurately map out your periods of growth and regression because with such a map you can make a plan. Think of a runner who studies a marathon route to see which sections they speed up or slow down on. It’s all about how you apply the information you have about yourself in an objective, growth-minded way. It took me years of documenting, discovery, retooling, and trail & error before I came up with a way to practically apply this methodology.
This year I’ll be unveiling my secret weapon; a habit tracking tool like no other. Simple, elegant, and effective; this tracker is for anyone who struggles with focusing amidst the grind of everyday life.
More to come…
